The couple times I came in second, I don't think I ever fired a shot. Still got to get that final push put together but at least this time I saw the guy that killed me. I've finished higher but I thought this was my best executed game so far in terms of gearing up and getting into the final zone. He fell up hill and I fell down hill right next to him. I heard some rustling behind me, guy was trying to sneak up on me. Eventually got down to only 4 of us left. After a couple more circle shrinks I started hearing firing to the north. Came in on the south side of the ridges and got set up in some rocks about 50m from where I estimated the center to be. Since there is not much south of there, I figured I would be the only one that far south. Headed west, the center was on the coast just south of Girna. Checked all the buildings, don't recall finding anything. Got there just as the blue circle was touching one edge of it. I realized I could check out Camp Maxwell. After I got well enough ahead ditched the truck and went on foot. Took one of the vehicles and went cross country. By now the first blue circle was up and I had about 4 minutes to get there. I had more mags for a bullpup rifle so I used it as primary and kept the M-4 in reserve. This one pulled up just outside base and when I heard it stop, stepped around the corner and got him in the cab. Finished looting the whole camp and heard another vehicle. Waited for him to enter the base and was able to drop him just as he exited the vehicle. As I finished clearing that building I heard a vehicle coming up the hill. Followed him up some stairs and he was checking inventory on a pile with no gun. Crested the hill to actually enter Rogaine and saw a guy. Found an LBE, pack and M-4 in the first tower. Looked around real quick and no one was headed east so I popped my chute and made it just down the hill from Rogaine. Drop was basically just east of the airfield on Stratis. Had probably my best game yet, tied for 3rd. How many times is it reasonable to have to drink in that period? Two, maybe three? To be honest, I'm not sure Battle Royale needs any hunger/thirst components since rounds only last an hour and a half on average. I could see having your "hydration" deplete more quickly while sprinting, but having the two so closely tied is silly. Holy shitballs, that's not good implementation. You get a limited amount of sprint, which is defined as your hydration, and once that goes away you start losing health. They did indeed add a thirst component to the ranked servers. It'll be interesting to see how it works. Sounded like you'd be able to drink from barrels.and I can't remember if there were other sources of fresh water. It might only be for the "ranked" (Altis) servers first, and then will be put on all the servers.

I haven't played the new patch yet, but it sounded like they were adding a thirst system too. From watching a stream, it also looks like they changed the parachuting to be more fluid and faster. I haven't been able to find any patch notes, but apparently they added a bunch of new weapon types.
ARMA 3 BREAKING POINT LAUNCHER. UPDATE
This is definitely the case with Arma 3, which has been able to hold onto a fairly sizable playerbase over the years thanks to the fantastic work of these often unsung heroes.New update out for Battle Royale. In many instances this is down to excellent dev support, although modders can also play their part as well. That isn't to say that a game's shelf-life can't be extended though and there are plenty of examples of titles remaining popular long after the initial hype that surrounded their releases has died down. Ultimately though, good things rarely last forever. It could be a few months after its release or, if it's a particularly good one, a few years. Updated April by Thomas Bowen: No matter how good a game is, there'll usually come a point when people stop playing it. Although there are thousands of them out there, there are some that shine a little brighter than others. While the vanilla version of the game can be incredibly glitchy, even by the standards of when it came out, its barebones design makes it the perfect sandbox for unique creations and interesting mods.
